Last Weekend my mother had her 70th birthday, so she decided to bring the whole family to Ticino. We gathered in Brunnen and drove all together through the Gotthard-tunnel. We arrived for Lunch in very nice Restaurant Ristorante Rodolfo in Vira. After lunch we walked a bit through the village and then headed to the Parco Botanico del Gambarogno. It was gorgeous walking through the garden and I’ve taken many shots from the blooming flowers.
The night we spend in Hotel Ascona in Ascona where they had some Swing players performing after dinner….
The next day we went to the Valle Verzasca, where we had some light lunch next to the famous Ponte dei Salti. Unfortunately, I did not realize that the sun began to set and the river sunk in the shade… Never the less I had my filter-pack with me and my 14-24mm which was giving me quite some nice options.
As usual, there were many people, so I had to wait a bit until they have moved out of my view 😉
