After being through the Rattlesnake & Antilope Caonyon we headed toward Monument Valley. Along the way we stopped at the Amigo Café for an outstanding Mexican lunch. This was much needed as it was already later afternoon.
Being fueled with food and gas we drove over to the Monument Valley. At the top entrance we shoot a few nice pictures as the sun was still shining :-). Sure we where grasping to drive down the off-road track. From my memory this track was a very simple dirt road… and sure it was. 
Never the less it had a huge puddle of “dirty” water which we enjoyed driving through, giving our car a new tint…
While driving through the Valley, it started to rain quite a bit. The change in weather turned out to be really good. With the dramatic sky and some sun rays the scene became really interesting to watch :-)We stayed until the sun had set and it became dark. So we headed to our motel at the Mexican Hut.
