Mono Lake at night

Hi Guys,

After getting some Dinner at “Lee Vining”, I headed down to the “South Tufa” area. As it was already dark, and I’ve never been there, I was up for a surprise. I read a bit about the location on this post, brought all my stuff with me. It was really cold, and I had my cloves with me. I met a goup of photographer which where leaving the place for returning at 4am… when the moon would set!. I still decided to go down to the lake and see what I could do.

Since the moon was shining, I had a lot of light on the Tufa’s, which resulted in a interesting scene:

DSC_1750I walk the shore, and took a series of images, which I think have turned out really nice.

After about one hour, I returned to the hotel and got some sleep the the next day….so stay tuned for the “Monolake pictures”
