On our way back from Page to Kanab we stopped at the parking on the path to the wave. It was a clear and moonless night and the Milky Way just poped out on the sky.
We set our cams up with some numbers I’ve read somewhere
- ISO: around 1600
- Time: 15s -30s
- Aperture: 2.8 (or what ever the lowest number of your lens is)
and a tripod and headlight to brush the foreground with light.
