This week we had a Cisco offsite meeting in Lenzerheide so I decided to drive up to Lenzerheide the night before the meeting. The weather forecast was just right, clear sky, no winds. Further there was no moon, so best conditions for a startrail and night shots.
I arrived at 9pm at the lake Lenzerheide, it was about 10°C and still not fully dark.
I took my 14-24mm f2.8, tripod and headlights and wandered to the border of the lake. First I shoot a few soots towards north, and then I had to found a location where I did not get any direct light from one of the bright lights of the restaurants….
after about 45min of sooting, I had a star-trail and some really nice reflective star pictures.
