We returned to Moab after our sunset shots over the Isle of Sky. From out last years’s trip we remembered Jay’s Pasta with it’s famous grilled pasta plates. Again we did not get disappointed! Meanwhile the sun had set and the sky was dark. A quick espresso and we where back in the car, driving to the Double-Arch at Arches National-Park. From far we did see some lights at the arch. We turned our headlights of as we approached the arch. We exchanged a hello and expressed our plans. We brought a small LED light to light up the foreground a bit. We played around with the location on where to place the light, so that there was not any bright spots, not too many shadows. After some back and forth, we placed the light between the rocks and pointed it against an other rock, so the light was bouncing of the red rocks of the arch.
With the Milky-Way in the sky, we where able to shoot some really nice shots 🙂
At about 10pm we headed back to our hotel for some good sleep, after some exciting day.
