My wife asked me what I would wish for Christmas… After getting some adverts about Lego, I thought it would be cool to get a fancy LEGO Technics model. Looking at the latest and greatest (yes the one with the most pieces) I ended up at the Volvo L350F.
Unpacking the huge box at Christmas eve, it looked impressive. As I did not feel very well that evening (had some fewer), I started assembling the first parts the day after. it took a few days, as I could only assemble while my daughter was sleeping… 4 days later I finally managed to start the engines! uups… one of the differential gearboxes was installed the wrong way around, which had the result that the front wheels where turning backwards while the back wheels tried to push forward! I had to remove a few (a lot of..) parts to get it right again… At the end it was a fun experience being a kid again 😉
