The Cisco GSX was over on Thursday at noon with the grand finale at the MGM Arena in Las Vegas. Once we managed to get out of the MGM and back to Mandalay Bay where we had our luggage deposited. We headed to AVIS to pick up our car… the Jeep Wrangler we have made reservation for.
As Dominik insisted he liked to see the camera store in Vegas and wanted to do some shopping…so we did.
At about 3pm we headed off towards the coral sand dunes near Kanab. It was a 4h drive. We discovered after being on the highway for two hours, that this car needs a lot of gas (22-mpg..). We finally arrived at the park about 30min prior to sunset at the parking lot. The sand dunes just minutes away we packed all our gear and headed out to the dunes. Keen on trying the new lens filters we soon discovered that using the filters the first time in a real environment was not that easy. Further we both had two cameras ready… it was just too much in this environment…
After packing one camera away and playing with the filters during sunset we shot a few really nice images.
On the road again we were heading towards Bryce Canyon. As we were hungry we stopped at the burger place on the way… finally we arrived at Bryce Canyon and went tired to sleep…
